NOTES (From T & I):
8.5 - change dots to match transparency & placement of 8.1; use baby #11 or zebra from 6.0
8.1 - less gold under man's chest; no zebra
Investigate frosting tops & bottom of panels
NOTES (From Ken):
Existing panels cannot be used. Image must be laminated. Printer will supply 3 - 3' x 8' panels but will this increase price by $3,000. I substituted a sketch of a sleeping baby for the photo #11 so it would work better with man - I can also sketch #11 if you prefer that pose. I'm not sure I like the panels frosted so have included a partial frost pattern in the 8.5 evolutions

Dear Ken,
ReplyDeleteThese are great!! I love 8.5.1 and 8.1.1. I think I prefer 8.5.1 as it is not quite as busy and the "stripes" are from floor to ceiling. I do have 2 questions. The first question is if the stripes could be more zebra-like and not quite as symmetrical. (Perhaps when they go outside of the "artwork" they could be frosted to obscure the room). The other question is about the transparency. I am afraid that the goings-on in this room behind it will detract from the piece. Do you have any other suggestions? (if the zebra stripe frosting isn't valid)
I don't think the money will be a problem. I think the piece is best suited to be put here if we can solve the problem of the room behind it. Just adjust the invoice appropriately when the design is final (so close!)
I am thrilled with these versions and am so excited we are close to production. I know all the directors will also be thrilled.
Thanks so much for putting this together so fast.
Isabelle
Ken,
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting to get you a proper sequence of letters to use for that swirl of letters in the middle. I will try and confirm it this week. It shouldn't be difficult. Whatever I give you can just be repeated however you need.
Thanks,
Isabelle
